The new release is here – or almost…
I have finished the new release late last night. I am however not yet ready to sell it. I still need to update my pages, print the new user’s manual and prepare the CD.
But it is already available for download if you want to try it. In order not to confuse new visitors on my site, I have decided to make the new release available on my brand new Facebook page only. If you want to try it, you can go there now and download the edition of your choice (Pro, Menu or Home). You will be able to request a temporary license key from within the software that will give you access to all the features of the software during the 45-day trial period, that is enough for you to do all your end-of-year meal planning.

If you don’t have a facebook account, don’t worry this is only temporary. The software should be available from my pages in one or two weeks.

Here are a few highlights on the new release:
- The user interface has been completely rewritten and updated, to make the navigation easier and more intuitive.
- I have added a synchronization function that allows you to share your recipes between several computers – and will allow you to access them on iPhone, iPad, etc., when I have finished writing the iPhone app (Menu and Pro editions only).
- The shopping list supports several supermarkets (Menu and Pro editions only)
- There is an ultra fast search that can span all the cookbooks and search the whole text of the recipes as well as the ingredients.
- The recipe wizard has been improved and understands still better the recipes, and learns also as you use it.
- The nutritional analysis includes now trans fat, glutamic acid and choline. A new nutrition tab gives you the nutritional break down by ingredient.
- Supplier price lists can now be easily imported (Pro edition only).
- The software supports now recipes in French, German and Italian, in addition to English.

I had to buy your Shop & cook home as I couldn’t wait. have downloaded Menu from facebook but am unable to register, I keep getting your bonus cookbook (5 so far)but no license key so am having to go through the whole name and email everytime I open it up, pity as it looks good.

It may happen that the e-mail with the registration information gets blocked as spam by your isp or ends up in your junk mail folder. I will send you manually by e-mail your trial registration number.
It looks fantastic! If we already have ShopNCook Menu, will we need to purchase a new license to upgrade?

If you have purchased less than a year ago, the upgrade is free. Otherwise, you may receive a 50% discount depending on which version you are now using.

I purchased your software back 2 years ago. For A MacOSX.
I since then have a new computer. How do I go about reloading this software n my new computer?
Should I download the Beta? Is there a price break in upgrading?

The software available now on the Facebook page is not a beta, it is the actual release. It is not yet for sale, but you can obtain a temporary license key.
If you have purchased Shop’NCook 2 years ago, you will get a 50% discount on the new version.
If you don’t want to upgrade, you can still download Shop’NCook Menu 3.4 from here, but you should hurry up as Shop’NCook Menu 3.4 will not be available anymore once version 4.0 is officially released.
The user’s manual of the new release is available here. There isn’t yet video tutorials.

Hi! I have downloaded a trial of the new ShopN’Cook 4.0 release. So far I like it. But, I cannot get it to sync with my iphone. Is this part ready yet?
