If you need more, please let me know.

Can I only sync four cookbooks?

You shouldn’t have problems synchronizing once the iPhone is completely synchronized.
The first time you synchronize a device, it can take some time as all the cookbooks and recipes are downloaded from the server. Subsequent synchronizations should be over in seconds.

I have worked out most of my set up with ishopncook for the IPad. Thanks for your patience. I am now trying to sync the cookbooks with my iPhone
I keep getting the message to contact the server later.
I tried unsyncing the cook books from the IPad and the resyncing and tried one cookbook at a time. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
Do I have some setting or something wrong?
Thanks Chef Monalisa

Please, see email too.

Everything is set up correctly. Any suggestions? I purchased the Cookbook Plus and the Import/Export Module. On the cookbook shelf it has Direct Access showing as a book.

Please see the reply by Kimberly below. You need to update your security settings.

Several persons contacted me with the same problem and I didn’t know what was going on. I googled it now. It seems that I need to sign the software so that it is allowed by Apple.

the message you got is because of your setting (security and privacy) on your mac. It will give you this message if you do not allow applications from other places (other than mac app store). All you have to do is change that setting and you can install the same downloaded file.
Regarding the app:
I was able to update my version of shopNcook and it worked flawlessly. I’m using the import/export option, emailing whole cookbooks to my iphone. I took me less than 5 minutes to get them all on my iphone!

When I tried to install the updated version of ShopNCook Menu over the previous version on my computer (a mac running Mountain Lion), I got the following message: “ShopNCook Menu is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.” I was able to recover the program from a previous install, but I wanted to let you know that something seems to be wrong with application.
