Sublists
Overview
The sublist panel is accessed by clicking on the Sublists tab at the top of the screen. Sublists are lists of items that can be selectively added to the shopping list. They provide another way to group items for convenient access. Sublists can be made to group items for special occasions, like a party or an outing, or as a convenient reminder to make sure at a glance you are fully stocked with the essentials.

How to create a sublist
The most convenient way to create a sublist is to create a new shopping list, by selecting New in the File menu of the shopping list panel, and selecting the items you want in the sublist. You select then "Save As Sublist" from the File menu and input the name of the sublist. The saved sublist is shown on the sublist panel. You can then edit the sublist to group its items, add headings and set the default selection states and comment fields of the items. You can also create a sublist from scratch by clicking on the New button in the toolbar of the Sublist panel. Go to the sublist panel by clicking on the sublist tab at the top of the screen. Select the name of the sublist from the list on the left. Check the items you want to add to the shopping list, uncheck the others. Edit the comment fields of the item you want to add to specify the quantity, brand or flavor of the items.
